IOT Based Automation of Water Pump

This project presents the hardware implementation of the controller which controls motor.This helps in your daily life problems related to motor like burnt up due to dry run ,high voltages etc. They provide protection and make daily life easier according to modern life.


Project Objectives:


1. Designing a Controller to Measure the Underground Level of Water .

2. Prevent motor from damage using safety precautions.

3. Prevent the excess flow of water and save the expensive unit of electricity.

4. Use IOT for all these tasks to make daily life easy.

Socio-economic Benefit:

The Scarcity of water is one of the biggest issues in the world ,Water conservation is gaining a significant importance now a days, water crisis is reaching the alarming level day by day. This Project help us to 

1. Avoid overflowing of water from tank and overrunning of water pump

2. User friendly - You can use from anywhere

3. Prevention from motor failure because of dry running

Project Methodology:

 The current research study is divided into different parts. The first part deals with the controlling of power of the motor using voltage sensor with the help of relay with respect to the user requirements. The second part indicates the level of water using ultrasonic sensor. The third part indicates the flow of water in the pipes using flow sensor. The final part indicates if there is no flow of water in flow sensor or no current is drawn through water then motor will be turn off. All these data will be viewed on android app.
