The Cattle Health Monitoring System is an innovative project that seeks to enhance the well-being of cattle by leveraging the power of wireless sensor networks. The system utilizes a state-of-the-art electronic device that is affixed to the ear of the animal to capture and transmit real-time data on critical health parameters such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and eating patterns. Additionally, the system is designed to monitor the surrounding environmental factors, including temperature, humidity, and presence of toxic gases, which can negative impact the health and productivity of the cattle.
This project aims to make livestock farming easier and more efficient by developing a tech- nological solution based on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) that could help the farmers mon- itor their livestock health stats in real-time and make informed decisions and avoid any potential threats or dangers to their livestock. Comprising of an electronic device mounted on the cattle body, the project includes complete software package that brings the details of Cattle Health Specs right in the Mobile phones of farmers.
This project helps the Livestock industry by introducing the innovative monitoring technique and replace the traditional practices that are less efficient. By providing a monitoring solution, the project tends to improve livestock health and hence improved dairy and farm production.
The research includes finding the possible and effective stats to be monitored for the health monitoring and safety of livestock. The project includes development of a wearable hardware device capable of monitoring the mentioned factors and transmit data to a cloud hosted database using WiFi network. The project includes development of software to host and save data in cloud. Furthermore, it covers the development of Mobile App to make the cloud hosted data accessible to user.
This project is a complete solution for livestock health monitoring that has the potential to change livestock industry by a modern monitoring method and replace the traditional and expensive look after practices. Better health for livestock mirrors to higher efficiency, reduced losses and hence better profits for the farmers and industry.
