A-HIBA TRUST provides an online portal where students and employees of our university can easily donate to the deserving people or request for donations to accomplish their necessities, it is a wonderful way to serve People. Through this platform, we are nothing but bringing smiles topeople’s faces as we are indirectly caring about needs and wishes of People. It’s a best opportunity as everyone wants to live happy.
Objectives
To provide a platform where needy people of our University can request for donation while their information will be only visible to admin.
To provide a forum where donors can donate to right deserving people and having a trust that their donation is actually going to needy ones.
Saves Time- Through this application the donation process will be automated, so time consumed in finding donor or recipient manually will be saved.
Saves Effort – Now whole process is automated so human effort will be saved.
Improves Efficiency- This system will make things easier for both administration and users.
Socio-Economic Benefit
Today is the age of technology. Time is considered as precious money. Now, when everything is done via internet and useful technologies, there must be a service which should help people in fulfilling their necessities. Unemployment has been the major issue of Pakistan since long time but due to Covid-19, the situation has been worse now. In such situations, many talented students quit education just because they cannot fulfill heavy university dues. Similarly, medication
charges are also hitch for deprived people to be fulfilled. The conventional mean is to have a platform where employees and students of COMSATS University can easily request for donation without displaying their information in front of anyone. Secondly, the capable ones can also find right deserving people in no time.
Methodologies
For software development projects like AL-HIBA TRUST, we used Waterfall Methodology. This methodology involves a linear approach to project management, where each phase of the project is completed before moving on to the next. It is useful for AL-HIBA TRUST projects that have a clear and well-defined scope and a fixed timeline.
Outcome
An efficiently responsive, user-friendly and user- facilitating system is to be formed which aims to meet the personal and professional necessities of the donations carried out in COMSATS University, donors and recipients. The system at back-end maintains a database for the donations, donors, recipients and details with respect to them. For all users, the system maintains their personal profile details, such as name, contact details, recent donations and so on. System will also manage complete record of all donations taken place, such as information about donor, recipient, when it started and when it completed, amount required etc.
Basically, we are implementing a system that aims to automate donation process. This system has three entities Admin, donor, recipient. This system which will be used by COMSATS University. It has an amazing feature that other NGO’s can also collaborate with our university. They can also donate and request for donations. If some student or employee needs donation they only have to request. The best part of this application is, the information of recipient will be visible only to the admin to avoid any embarrassment. Similarly, if somebody wants to donate but they have doubt about right deserving people this system will also help them
to find such people easily in a very less time. Users can also volunteer themselves for rider to pick any donation. There is also a chat box where users can contact admin against a specific post. User will also have an option to select type of donation like books, blood, money etc. then according to his/her choice he/she can donate or request for donations.
