Objectives
The chief objective of this project is to offer protection, by providing an extra line of defense
to the bomb disposal squad. Further objectives are as follows:
• To provide a remote observing and controlling application for the control of robot.
• Allowing the operator to control the explosive using the robotic arm.
• To offer a visual feedback from the site where the explosive is present.
Socio-Economic Benefit
It provides extra line of defense for bomb disposal squad and help squad to dispose a bomb remotely keeping themselves at a safe distance
Methodologies
Our Project will implement the idea of designing a robot that will be used to dispose of
explosives without risking human lives. Our Robot works as a transmitter and receiver. It
transmits the video signals from the camera to the control site and also receives the signals from
the controller unit. The transmitting and receiving of instructions is done using router.
At the control site, the videos signals from the camera will be received by the controlling unit,
it will encode it and transmit it to display unit. The robot will be given instructions remotely
using a computer/smartphone and it will move accordingly. The movement of the robot
base and the robotic arm is controlled from user end according to the live feed received from
the Wi-Fi camera. The received video information will then be used for robot navigation,
bomb detection and disposal too.
Outcome
Achieve task to dispose a bomb and get live video feedback using android mobile phone.
