This project will help the deaf persons to communicate in real time by performing sign language translation. sign language translator will provide the ease of communication as the device converts the gestures performed by the user into text and voice along with displaying what the other person says. The normal person can used this application in the deaf community to easily understand the deaf people what they are trying to say. If the person that have no knowledge about the sign language he/she can easily learn by using this Application. It clears the barrier between the deaf people and normal people.
Real-time sign language conversion of signs for dumb people overcome the communication gap between the mute communities. The projected methodology interprets sign language into text. The system overcomes the necessary difficulties of the need of learning sign language to understand and communicate with the deaf community. Compared with existing system the projected arrangement is simple as well as compact. This system converts the sign language into text then display results on screen to facilitate the deaf people. This Android Project also focused on converting translated text in to speech and also provide different signs if user want to learn sign language.
In order to access the system first user have to register account, after signup, user will be able to login through account. After login, user will be provided by the home menu, through which user can select different options like gesture recognition, learn sign language or either can check history. The gesture recognition feature will allow the user too convert sign in to text and then text in to speech as well. The learn sign language option will provide different signs, a user can learn, and the history will show the overall history, the user have been translated so far. User can clear the history as well. In settings menu, user will be able to change password and also can logout through the account. And at last in the account menu, the user will be able to access through the profile, where the user information will be shown. Also the user will be able to update profile image as well. The help desk will provide user guide, if user suffer any difficulty while accessing the system, and the about us will provide the short description about this project.
