Introduction
The basic premise of this project is to create and manage different sports events, also keep track of events. Our aim is to build a modern Sports & Event Management System that enables user to manage sports tournaments and events like E-Sports, Football, Cricket etcetera. Its main goal is to handle multiple sports tournaments at a time. Users can shift their manual paperwork onto an automated digital system which save their time by a great amount. It will simplify handling data and paperwork and manual work are minimized. 1.2
Background of the System
We have come across and gone through many kinds of similar sports management systems to learn and review what exactly users are looking for when they seek help of such software. They all have their own pros and cons and deeply studied the flaw and shortcomings of each to provide our users the complete experience and help they might need. Majority of similar software focus on physical sport activities and leave out e-sports and gaming, a chasm we aim on filling with our system. Furthermore, the system we plan on building will also provide the users live score of all the tournaments taking place.
Product Scope
Our goal to achieve here is a system that can register participants names onto a specific sport that they choose. It will provide matches time and venue. Furthermore, it will be used in keeping score of tournaments and matches in detail. The system we are trying to build is targeted towards college/university students therefore it will have a limited number of sporting activities that are more commonly observed during events like student week/sports week in universities. Our objective was to include e-sports in systems like these so it will be much more focused than the rest of the modules.
