An automated system which helps farmers to grow better quality and quantity of wheat through detecting wheat diseases, water level, and nitrogen deficiency. It is a step towards technology in the field of agriculture in Pakistan. It is the first application providing Urdu audios/videos for farmers so they can understand issues regarding wheat crops properly.
It also helps in predicting natural
bushfires, solve problems like water preservation and
indicate if crops suffer from various biotic and
abiotic stress.
An Eye for a Farmer (Kisan Dost) is an android mobile application specially designed for farmers. This application will help farmers grow quality wheat crops and it’s also a step towards technology in the field of agriculture. Kisan Dost is going to help the stakeholder detect wheat diseases, water level, and nitrogen deficiency in wheat crops. Kisan Dost will also have functionalities as it talks about government schemes for farmers, related videos about wheat crops, Daily weather conditions, and much more. Users need to click the picture of crops and through Digital image processing techniques the app will work on the functionalities mentioned above. Moreover, we added voiceovers so that semi/illiterate people can also easily operate this app. The purpose of this document is to provide the details about the working of our project and how the user can interact with this application
