To improve the attendance system for the university busses, we are here with a new product. In this era of modern technology we worked on IOT based project. Basically this system will scan our university cards, check it with cloud DATABASE and it will return with a response. further we added a GPS system which will help students to track their buses.
We make sure that our project should be compact, low cost and it ends up as a Product , so we did it.
WORKING:
SBMS is a IOT based project, IT has QR scanner which will scan QR code printed on our Student ID Card then it will forward that code to NODEMCU which is connected with internet over WIFI, the QR is searched in our DATABASE which is on MYSQL if QR is matches than it will show a tick mark on OLED display, otherwise it will show a cross mark.
We also integrated a GPS module which will locate bus location every second. we designed an Android application (APK) to Track down bus on google maps, speed, direction, longitude ,latitude and connected satellites value on the app.

OPERATIONAL TIME: less than 1 second to scan a QR card and display return data
OUR COST: The cost of this project is Rs 12,000/- and if we produce it on large scale it can lie less than Rs 9,000/- per device.
LIMITATION: The only drawback of IOT is availability of internet but it is in case of movable object if we use this project as immovable like in office so we can make a local host PC so the issue of internet will be resolved, there will be no need of internet.
