Detection of Glaucoma using image processing.

We have detect and predict glaucoma using fundus images and using AI best model that gave us best result.

 Project Objective

The goal of glaucoma detection is to detect glaucoma at early stage. Early treatment can protect the eyes against serious vision loss.

Early detection of glaucoma is essential not only to maximize the benefits of treatment for patients, but also to minimize the economic burden of glaucoma patient in society.

Our model will detect disease at early stage within minimum cost, which is affordable for below average people 

One of the main objectives of our project is to enhance the treatment process of diseases using AI best models.

Socio-economic Benefits

Our model will detect disease at early stage within minimum cost, which is affordable for below average people also, due to this everyone can do proper treatment. Our model will play important role in medical fields like in hospitals and in clinics in the rural areas due to this everyone can detect disease at initial stage and by proper treatment, the cases of this disease will be reduced to minimum. As Glaucoma can cause blindness or vision loss and due to this majority of people cannot do jobs and this unemployment effect the economy of country.

Project Methodology

Our system will use computer vision and image processing techniques for detection and predicting the results. Disease (glaucoma in eye) will be detected using a model like ResNet50. We have developed an app that is available on windows operating system. Our system will detect the disease and then informs the doctor that there is a need of treatment and medication. Also, it helps to detect glaucoma disease at initial stages so that the ratio of diseased people can be reduced to minimum. 

Project Outcome

The system will generate a result form that a doctor can use to give proper medication, and this will verify the accuracy of the system. Also tell either its glaucoma positive or glaucoma negative image.
