Quest Of Cedric is a Third Person Roleplaying Game developed on the Unreal Engine. Game has different levels with different enviorment in each level and proper Quest System.

Project Objectives:

  • Main objective of this game is to provide an immersive open world experience to the  user.  
  • This game will be optimized for the user of low-end devices by using different graphics  settings.  
  • This game is designed for PC platform, which is widely accessible to everyone  nowadays.  
  • This game is designed specifically for people of all ages who enjoy playing open world  games.  
  • This game is also objected to being a monetized and copyrighted product able to generate  revenue through sales of its copies.


Socio-economic Benifits:

  • It provides players an urge to explore, and gives them lots of things to find, evoking a sense of discovery and adventure and eventually broadening their thinking capabilities.
  • By playing this game, players can improve their decision-making skills by going through the different scenarios that indirectly relate to their real life sometimes.  
  • The multitasking and gameplay causes improvement of coordination.
  • This game can be a great way of making your leisure time worthwhile.


This product is a part of an industry greater than music and film industry combined. The Gaming industry is on its peak nowadays as PC gamers are increasing at an exponential  rate and their demand for quality games is also increasing. Our game will be available for sale for all gamers to buy in online stores. This will be a great opportunity for us as gainingprofessional game development skills and creating a continuous source of revenue provide us great scope of developing this game. Also, the tools and scripting of Unreal Engine has made its easy to provide future upgrades to the system.


Project Methodology:

Our project starts with the requirments gathering and mind mapping along with the specifications of the system. Next part is the designing of models done by Blender. Afterwards comes the part of Unreal Engine for scripting and rendering and last the game is packaged using Visual Studio.


Project Outcomes:

In our project we planned to create a real-time environment where a player may engage in open-world combat virtually. People of all ages who enjoy open world games are the target audience for this game. In a virtual environment, a player has great control over where they go and how they get there. While completing numerous challenges, the player progresses through different phases while overcoming various obstacles. We believe that the choice of game development is one of the best decisions that we have made as a first-time game developer. Due to the widespread popularity of Third-Person roll playing games, there are a lot of options to consider in the gaming industry. Therefore, it was a good start for us. The 6 months were packed with wonderful new experiences, and we will be able to use these experiences in our future works. Finally, the idea of developing game was a dream for us which became true, and we felt a sense of accomplishment.
