Traffic Simulator is the simulator based game which mainly focuses on rules, regulations and Traffic Sign boards authorized by the NHA (National Highway Authority) of Pakistan. It's Main Purpose is to educate people about the main traffic road signs and boards which they will eventually see in the real world while driving themselves. 3rd Person Perspective based this game mainly focuses that the player already know how to drive, Simulator only provide knowledge about the Rules of Traffic System. The purpose of developing this simulator is to prevent the road accidents which occurs mostly due to the lack of knowledge of traffic rules.
Project's Objective:
Traffic Simulator is the Unity based game that will act as manual and provide all the rules, environment, traffic signs, traffic intensity, and different driving experience. The main objective of traffic simulator is to develop a knowledgeable traffic based simulator game so player can learn the rules while enjoying the game, as the mainly reason was to prevent the road accidents due to the lack of knowledge about the rules, traffic signs, traffic board that might includes, one way traffic or roundabout, U-Turn and mainly Traffic Lights. Different kind of maps and different traffic intensity will be challenging for the player while playing.
Socio-Economic Benefits:
This Traffic Simulator based game focuses on the Pakistan's NHA Traffic System. Based on our projects search we have not seen any single game or app that teaches the traffic rules, traffics signs, traffic road and other signs. Because of this we have to face many road accidents that causes many casualties. So Considering all these factors we mainly focus on educating the people which might someday , somehow saves someone's life. Buy Simply playing this provides you the knowledge of what green, yellow, and red lights means, what signs are used for single way traffic what pedestrian signs means and wear the seat belt reminder as well.
Projects Methodology:
After Understanding all the traffic signs and rules, we have developed those prefabs on photoshop, While the rest of map developing and all other 3D objects we developed in Unity, Rest of the Scripting part was done on the Visual Studio code.
Project Outcomes:
In this Project We tried to develop an environment that helps the player in real by any means. The Project mainly was to educate the people of Pakistan. Some of the Outcomes includes:
