Ghar Say Ghar Tak is a service that lets property owners rent out their spaces to travelers looking for a place to stay. Travelers can rent a space for multiple people to share, a shared space with private rooms, or the entire property for themselves. Ghar Say Ghar Tak is based on a peer-to-peer business model. It operates its services through their mobile app and website. Hosts (properties owners) are allowed to list and rent out their vacant properties and customers can book those properties on rent. Ghar Say Ghar Tak also broadcast travelers to offer rides to other customers having the same or nearby destination.

Project Objective

Uplifting tourism in Pakistan has been a priority of each government. This raised the demand for hotel rooms in the country. But due to the limited number of hotels and high rates tourists are suffering and this may lead to dangerous incidents( e.g. last year's Muree incident). Our project objective is to provide an online marketplace that connects people who want to rent out their place to the ones who need it.

Socio-economic Benfits

Ghar Say Ghar Tak directly benefit tourism, hotel, and transport industry. Some of the major issues tourists’ faced by tourists are limited number of hotels and availability of transport vehicles at tourist places. Our system will boost tourism in the country by resolving the accommodation and transport problems faced by tourists. Ghar Say Ghar Tak also simplifies the process of hotels and rides booking for tourists since they can book beds, rooms, houses, apartments, hotels and rides online through our app and website with few simple steps.

Project Methodology

We have used Waterfall Methodology in our project. We divided our project activities into linear sequential phases of Waterfall such as Requirements phase, Design phase, Implementation phase, Verification phase and Maintenance phase.
