Ustad Go is a dual-platform solution bridging the gap between skilled local service providers and households. It features a cross-platform mobile application for users and a comprehensive web-based administrative dashboard. Built using Flutter, React, and Node.js with a Firebase backend, the platform creates a high-trust environment through identity verification and AI-driven matching, ensuring professional accountability and user safety in the service industry.

Objectives

The objective is to digitize Pakistan's informal labor market. By using AI-powered algorithms, the platform connects households with verified experts like electricians and plumbers based on proximity and ratings. The web-based admin portal allows for centralized management of provider verification, service monitoring, and platform analytics, ensuring a secure and efficient marketplace.

Socio-Economic Benefit

Ustad Go professionalizes the informal sector by providing workers with digital identities and a wider customer base, leading to increased income. For consumers, it eliminates the risks of unverified hiring. By standardizing services and providing an oversight mechanism via the admin panel, it promotes economic transparency and digital inclusion for skilled manual laborers.

Methodologies

The project utilizes an Agile approach. The mobile interface is developed in Flutter, while the administrative web portal is built using React and Tailwind CSS. The backend infrastructure is powered by Node.js and Firebase for real-time data handling and authentication. AI components for matching are handled via FastAPI, ensuring a modular and scalable architecture across both mobile and web clients.

Outcome

The final outcome is a fully integrated ecosystem consisting of a user-friendly mobile app and a robust administrative web dashboard. The system successfully handles real-time bookings, secure provider verification, and automated service matching, providing a scalable digital model for the home maintenance industry in Pakistan.
