The failure to talk with loved ones can cause low confidence and may bring social isolation to deaf and dumb people. The proposed system used CNN models to identify the sign through an android camera and provide a communication platform for them.

The purpose of building this sort of application is, there is no such real-time gesture recognition application that provides real-time recognition. Special Child Trainer | Deaf and Dumb Application will be implemented for mobile phone users in the world which allows them to communicate with a special person. The aim of this system is to dissolve the interaction of human hands with their mobile phones by recognizing the hand movements of the mobile phone user without touching. This will provide a platform for special persons to communicate with the world.
Objectives of System:
Special Child Trainer | Deaf and Dumb is an Android application that can be utilized by Android cell phone users to take in gesture-based communication from our given stage. The Special Child Trainer Application will be a mobile-based application developed exclusively for mobile devices built with the Android operating system. Learning actual sign language is possible for all users, genuine communication through signs, is workable for all clients, our application gives all real gesture-based communication which is utilized by maximum territories. Within the occasion that clients do not have the foggiest idea about the real sign for correspondence, so this may be difficult for clients to speak with others. Hard of hearing and idiotic could be a term implies an individual who seems not either listen or both listen and speak.
The Objectives are:
- Development of user-friendly, adaptive, and feasible android application.
- Training deaf and dumb people in learning the signs.
- Testing the learner’s skills by performing a quiz.
- Helping deaf and dumb people in communicating with the real world by providing a live time communication system.
Significance of System:
This idea will generally teach individuals a lesson on how to learn sign language. The instruction of the deaf and dumb is approximately one century ancient. Since sign is the most punctual way of communication within the world when there’s no suitable language, so sign language is favored among the deaf-dumb people for education. A deaf and dumb individuals use sign language for communication. So, the person to whom this communication is aiming ought to know the sign language in order to get it. Deaf-Dumb kids want to learn American Sign Language in a motivating way. However, in particular, this project will teach Android smartphone users.
