TriMix falls under the AI & Video Content Automation track. It’s a web-based application tailored for influencers and businesses. The app automates video transcription, identifies speakers, segments long videos into shorter social media-friendly clips, and allows easy editing and posting.Our project has four major objectives:Automating transcription and speaker ID,Using AI to create short clips for social platforms,Enabling easy editing and captioning,Allowing direct posting to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

Objectives

1. Automate Video Segmentation To develop an AI system that automatically segments long-form videos into short, contextually relevant clips based on speech, scene changes, or user-defined criteria. 2. Enable Accurate Transcription and Speaker Identification To integrate advanced speech-to-text and speaker diarization models that provide accurate transcriptions and identify individual speakers in a multi-speaker environment. 3. Simplify Video Editing for Non-Technical Users To create a user-friendly interface that allows influencers and business owners to edit and caption their videos without needing professional editing skills. 4. Generate Platform-Optimized Content To support exporting clips in formats optimized for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. 5. Enhance Content Creation Workflow with AI To reduce the time and effort needed for content creation by using AI to recommend clip highlights, generate titles, and suggest relevant hashtags. 6. Ensure Data Privacy and Customization To implement user data protection while allowing customization of output preferences, such as language, length, and visual branding. 7. Enable Direct Publishing to Social Media To allow users to post their finalized clips directly to social media platforms from the app.

Methodologies

1. Agile Development Process Adopted an Agile methodology with iterative sprints, enabling continuous integration, user feedback, and rapid prototyping of features like video clipping, transcription, and publishing. 2. Modular System Architecture Designed a microservices-based backend using FastAPI, allowing separate modules for transcription, segmentation, speaker identification, and editing to operate independently and scale effectively. 3. AI-Driven Video Analysis Speech-to-Text: Used advanced ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) models for transcription (e.g., Whisper or DeepSpeech). Speaker Diarization: Applied speaker separation techniques to identify different voices in multi-speaker content. Video Segmentation: Employed machine learning and timestamp-based logic to break videos into coherent short clips. 4. Frontend Development Developed a responsive and intuitive UI using React + Tailwind CSS to allow users to upload, edit, and manage videos with minimal technical effort. 5. Cloud Integration and Storage Integrated cloud services (e.g., AWS S3 or Firebase) for secure and scalable storage of videos, transcriptions, and metadata. 6. Database Management Used PostgreSQL to manage user data, video metadata, captions, and project histories with proper indexing for performance. 7. API Integration for Social Media Publishing Implemented APIs to allow direct posting to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, enhancing user convenience. 8. Testing and Evaluation Unit and integration tests for each module. User acceptance testing (UAT) with real influencers and small business users to evaluate usability and performance. 9. Security and Privacy Measures Applied encryption, secure authentication (OAuth 2.0/JWT), and access control to ensure data privacy and platform trustworthiness.
